Roost

A Temporary Perch

A series of room-like ceramic sculptures drawing from the instinctual shelters of the animal world — ant colonies, beehives, tree hollows, dens. Each piece is a body in repose: Bone, Flesh, Shell, Body. Made from low-fire red clay, kaolin, and Jingdezhen porcelain.

Project 02

A Grounded Rest

A series of functional ceramic works inspired by ancient furniture forms — stools, side tables, and tea platforms. Objects that sit quietly between use and presence. Forms that move between Western body structures and the rhythm of Eastern landscapes. Made from Longquan clay and Zhongpai porcelain using traditional methods.

Project 03

Shade

A Reconciled Body

Works that emerge from the tension between exposure and shelter, light and shadow. Each sculpture is a dialogue with its own silhouette — examining how forms cast shadows that become part of their meaning.

淤痕

Earth Imprint

A Lingering Trace

Surfaces pressed with earth, bark, and organic matter before firing. The body of the clay becomes a record — an archive of contact between material and landscape. Natural ash settles on the forms during the firing process, creating colors and textures shaped by fire, time, and chance.

浮白

Floating White

An Unfallen White

Porcelain works suspended between formation and dissolution. The white of these pieces is not absence but potential — a moment before the fall, a breath held in clay. Forms that embody the paradox of stillness within impermanence.
